Dan received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Connecticut in Storrs in 1996.  He designed, developed, and directs the data mining programs at CCSU, including the world’s first online Master of Science program in data mining.  He is a consultant in data mining and statistical analysis, and lives in Tolland, CT with his wife Debra, daughters Chantal and Ravel, and son Tristan.     

 

Dan is currently working on the second editions of Discovering Statistics and Discovering Knowledge in Data.
